Thanks, Meredith!
Score!
I’ve ridden this line a few times since it opened, and I’m thoroughly impressed by Amtrak’s customer service. They promptly changed my ticket schedule for me at no cost, have always been friendly, and the trains were either early or on time each trip. Way to go, Amtrak.
Interesting contrast- leaders in Lburg and Cville exalt together in this postive transportation improvement, yet are at each others throats about US 29. Maybe cooperation can actually accomplish something.
