I had seen his obit in the Washington Post yesterday, but didn’t connect him with the C-Ville work. The Obit is interesting;

I never thought of the downtown mall as the “choreography of serendipity”. I’ll have to view the downtown mall in a totally different light.
The obit also states that he received the University of Virginia Thomas Jefferson Foundation Medal of Architecture, whatever that is.
