I’m shocked, saddened, and appalled by this. Why can’t a 14-yr old be safe in his own bed?

Sad, but true reason that a homes value is based on the following first three things: Location, location, location.

It’s a shame that a kid has to be shot to gather attention. There are regular sounds and rumors of shootings in the area, that seem to be primarily ignored.

I hope they nab the culprits, and crack down on the problem in general (though I don’t know off-hand how they might do such a thing).

Where’s that dumb-ass Will to say how sorry he is about this? Remember how worked up he was about the tragedy overseas…no words can express…?

As we move through the next ten to twenty years of life here in the US of A, let’s try to keep in mind how fu**ed up our own society is…and let’s move to fix it.

…and it’s her own bed, not his own bed.

I know this is not a popular viewpoint but I can not help but think that, if the thugs were attacking each other with knives, bats, etc. this poor girl would be safer in her own bed. Guns in the wrong hands are part of this sad story.

    Excellent point.

This is what you get when you have cops working the road looking for seat belt violations, cops staking out train tracks to catch students illegally crossing said tracks, and cops staked out to catch motorists not stopping for the pedestrian crosswalks. And this is also what you get when you subscribe to the press releases and theory that violent crime is on the decrease in Charlottesville and Albemarle County. We ain’t seen nothing yet, babe!
