I am glad the City can scientifically figure out if it has plowed a street; now we don’t have to eye ball it to know if it’s clean. I hope public works will go to more equipment shows and bring back more gadgets to play with. I guess the safety measure lies in the fact that fewer supervisors will have to travel the roads to see if the workers have actually done their work, especially if residents can’t call City Hall to fuss about impassable streets if their phone lines are down.
