This is cause for celebration. Dave is an asset to the community, and is a hardworking and ethical man. We may not always agree on every issue, but he has my complete respect. Thankfully, he’s not your usual sort of glad-handing politician, so he probably won’t turn into a wanker.
I have high hopes he’ll make a great mayor, and may even bring Council’s tone back to one of civility towards the citizens.
I don’t think that any of the new Council members will be uncivil to the public.
