  1. Strange that this should be Cville’s first Juneteenth observance, considering how long the celebration has been around. Makes me suspect that the majority of the revelers will be white liberals externalizing their upper-middle class guilt complexes and patting themselves on the back for how “sensitive” they are. How titillating!!

    Caveat: I may be wrong.
