I suspect traffic patterns will change considerably when all of the developments from HOllymead Town Center and further north and the move of Martha Jefferson hospital to Pantops and a resulting increase of auxilliary services there. Maybe the connector should be further north on 29N. One thing for certain, traffic numbers generated in 1999 will definitely be obsolete.
Has there ever been a new road that Cville needed?
The 10th Street connector comes to mind.
– The UVA North Grounds connector.
– Berkmar Drive extension(?) behind Lowe’s

Hillsdale Driveoops. In the abstract, Hillsdale Drive sounds like a good idea to me.
I doubt that there would be a North Grounds Connector if UVa hadn’t ponied up the cash for it.
Question: how many people use the North Grounds connector other than the UVA community?
