Well, I’m sure you must be aware Tom Shadyac, the director of Bruce Almighty, went to the University of Virginia. Charlottesville would be an obvious filming location.
Oh, almost forgot, Steve Carell is actually reprising his role from Bruce Almighty, not taking on Jim Carrey’s (not Carey) role.
